Quite a Lot of Harry Potter

And we're off!

- Your favorite book:
Three-way tie between Prisoner, Phoenix, and Hallows. Prisoner was my favorite for ages, so much so that my copy is completely falling apart. I love the time travel aspect. Plus, there are Marauders. I love the DA and the whole rebellious feel of Phoenix, even if Harry does annoy me to no end throughout it. And Hallows just wraps up the series perfectly.
- Your favorite movie: To be completely honest, I can't stand the movies. But I like that they finally gained that darker aspect in PoA, and that the writer for OotP actually got the characters closer to right, specifically Ron, but especially not Sirius. The other guy always make Ron look like an idiot, which I loathe.
- Is there any of the film adaptations that have made you angry because they’ve ignored important parts of the book? Yes, and I cannot possibly even begin to explain them all.
- Least favorite female character and why: Bellatrix, I suppose. She killed Sirius and Tonks.
- Favorite male character and why: Ron, because he is so humanly flawed. I also adore Neville, because he never stops trying.
- What house would you want to be in: I can never figure out if I'd be in Hufflepuff or Gryffindor.
- Favorite female character and why: Either Ginny or Luna. Ginny's witty and knows how to stand her ground. Luna's kind and open-minded. And they're both really confident. I also really like Rose, even though we don't know much about her I think she could be a very interesting character considering her family.
- What do you think would be your favorite lesson? I'd like potions, but mostly only because I know I wouldn't do poorly in it. I think charms and flying would be really fun, though.
- Least favorite male character: Snape, hands down. He's selfish and just plain cruel.
- Horcruxes or Hallows: To have? Hallows (or rather just one of them). To go after when saving the world? Horcruxes.
- What character would you say you are most like? I used to fancy myself like Hermione, but I'm not really smart enough for that. The last time some friends and I talked about it, we decided I was a bit more like Ginny (with a tiny touch of Luna's oddness). I just asked my dad and he said Neville, but has no explanation for it.
- Favorite ship: Ron and Hermione.
- Least favorite movie: Impossible choice, but I guess the first two because they're so cheesy.
- Team Voldemort or Team Harry: Harry. (Though if this is supposed to be a Edward vs. Jacob type question, neither.)
- Who would be your best friends at Hogwarts (Three Only)? I think I'd have the most fun with Ginny and the twins, honestly, but I'd love to be friends with the trio as well.
- Who is your favorite Death Eater? Draco Malfoy. He counts, right?
- Are you excited about the Deathly Hallows movies or scared they won’t do the book justice? I know they won't do the book justice, but I'm excited about being a fan at such an interesting time in the series' history. Especially for LC11 and part two.
- Least favorite book: The ones I've reread the least are CoS and HBP. Take that as you will.
- Do you prefer the books or the movies? Seriously?
- If you got to meet one member of the cast, who would it be? Matt or Evanna. Because they really seem to care. (Not that the others don't, but they were big fans first, you know?)
- Out of all the characters that died, if you could bring one back, who would it be? If I could only bring back one, it'd be Fred. For George's sake.
- Harry Potter or Twilight: I refuse to justify this question with an actual answer.
- Any part of the books or movies that makes you cry? Sirius in book five, and several parts of book seven. Even in rereads.
- Any particular scene you wished would have been put in the movie, but wasn’t?
Too many to mention, really. They waste so much time on things that aren't even in the books, when they could be using the canon that's better anyway.
- Nineteen years later. Are you happy how it turned out, or do you wish something was different, ie Neville married Luna: I'm good with how things turned out. I still want more details, of course, but we'll get that in the Scottish Book. I hope.
- If you would be able to work one spell without a wand what would it be? I'm not sure. Maybe Reparo? I break things a lot.
- Would you rather own the Invisibility Cloak, The Resurrection Stone or The Elder Wand? Invisibility cloak. The other two are terrifying.
- Do you listen to Wizard Wrock, what do you think about it? I love wizard wrock! It's super fun and by nature so different from any other type of music.
- Did you enjoy A Very Potter Musical? Yes. It was totally awesome. (Sorry. I had to.)
- What affect has Harry Potter made on your life and how much does it mean to you? I can't really put it into words, but it means more than almost anything.

It makes me sad you've read HBP the least. CoS I understand but I adore HBP...

Also, you're very right about the final 2 movies. Just like before the release of book 7, this is a very special time to be apart of the fandom (and I cannot wait for LeakyCon 2011!)

I like the whole crazy teenagers aspect of HBP, and all the background of Voldemort is interesting, but something about it just doesn't sit right with me. Maybe it's all the Dumbledore. I know it's pretty blasphemous to say, but he bugs me.
